Supervisor, Aviation QA & QC

Saudi Aramco is seeking an experienced Supervisor, Aviation QA & QC to work with the Aviation Department. The company operates a large fleet of aircraft and maintains airstrips and aviation facilities at a number of locations in Saudi Arabia in support of company operations. The fleet consists of 17 airplanes (including five B737-700's, three De Havilland DHC-8's, two De Havilland DHC-6's) and 21 Helicopters. This dynamic organization handles passenger and cargo transportation in addition to special missions and operations to include pipelines patrol, search and rescue and medical evacuation.

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Supervises, plans and directs the activities of the Aviation Quality Control Unit which ensures that the aircraft are maintained to the highest quality standards and ensures their continued airworthiness in accordance with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, and approved Company policies and procedures. Responsible, under the general direction of the Manager, Aviation Department, for all aspects of the Fixed and Rotor Wing Quality Control functions including standards of quality and reliability as required by the Saudi Aramco and the Federal Aviation Administration. The fleet consists of 5 Boeing 737s, 3 DeHavilland Dash 8s , 2 Dehavilland DCH-6s, Cessna Citation 550, 2 Gulfstream G550, 2 spray Air Tractor AT-802s, 7 A109 EP helicopters, 7 Bell 212s, 2 Bell 412 EPs and 5 AW 139 helicopters. Ensures that Federal Aviation Regulations and manufacturers technical specifications are observed as well as the developmental and implementation of the Maintenance Division procedures and methods to provide efficiencies and high standard of airworthiness and flight safety. Responsible for the Part 125.247 maintenance program, Part 91 AAIP helicopter maintenance program and the helicopter Component Shop maintenance program.

Minimum Requirement: A) B.S Degree in Engineering, MIS. Must have Federal Aviation Airframe and Powerplant Authorized inspectors license. B) Fifteen (15) years of practical experience in Quality Control, maintenance, and modification of airframes, engines, systems, and related aircraft components. 5 years supervisor experience. C) Must be able to write concise technical reports. D) Must have a current knowledge of Federal Administration Regulations. Preferred candidates who worked in the airline, with an engineering background, worked in their Quality Assurance/Engineering, High caliber.
